Show update

Woo! Hung Lo and I hit up the Hangar 18 show last night, which was excellent despite there being only twenty people there. Get out to these shows, people!

There aren't any shows in Ames for a while, but here's what's on our radar:

  • Gabe's Oasis in Iowa City is hosting The Coup out of Oakland with Portland's Lifesavas tonight (the 19th). Hangar 18 and Cryptic One will play at this show if you missed them in Des Moines last night. Tickets are twelve bucks if you don't have some already.
  • The Bali Satay House will be having a couple more reggaeton parties on the weekend before Halloween. Get down there around 9:30 with your three bucks (five if you're not of drinking age) on Friday the 28th and Saturday 29th for a good time.

It's sad, but that's all that's coming up for the rest of the month. The Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines have a very, very good show coming up at the beginning of November, though: Swollen Members and the hilarious Brother Ali will be opening a show on Monday the 7th for the famed Planet Asia. I know it's a Monday show, but it will be a one to remember, and you'll have the whole rest of the week to sit on the couch watching VH1. Tickets are eight bucks in advance–go get yours now!

Oh, and don't forget to tune into our show tonight. We've got some... interesting vinyl to give away.

Hi guys. Nice site - pity you have to go to such lengths to moderate it. Help me! There is an urgent need for sites: Benefit cosmetics employment. I found only this - arch expert Benefit cosmetics.
